Here are the details for Geoffs walk next Sunday the 28 August 2022.
WANDALE 7 Miles Moderate 700 to 800ft of climbing.
Start Time 10.00am from the Car Park at Rawthey Bridge. The car park is just to the South of the bridge off the A683 at 979711 Sedbergh to Kirby Stephen Road
IMPORTANT NOTICE This walk involves road walking on a busy main road.
Park the cars at Rawthey Bridge then follow a quiet road to join a path which drops down to the main road. A short climb up to a farm then level off and follow the bridal way round to Adamthwaite then join a bridal way down to Nathwaite Farm. There we join the main road and walk back to the cars.
Maximum on walk 15 people.

Booking is ESSENTIAL. You must book directly with the leader (usually by 8.00 pm on the Friday prior to the walk) as once the walk is fully booked there will be a waiting list. Also if you turn up on the day without booking you will be refused on the walk. If you have booked on a walk and find you are unable to attend please let the walk leader know as soon as possible so that the place is available to someone else.
We are trying to car share as much as possible, both to conserve fuel and because there is often limited parking at the start of a walk. See Lancaster Walking Group WhatsApp group, either to offer a lift, or to see if a lift is available for that walk.
