We have now set up a Private Facebook Group for the walking group at the following address https://www.facebook.com/groups/1012664319935039 The Facebook Group is only open to fully paid up members of the group and only members of the facebook group can see who else is a member and what is posted on the group. This means that the WhatsApp group can continue to be used only for arranging lifts to walks, posting a small number of pictures of the latest walk or social, and for walk leaders to keep members updated on any changes to advertised walks. Posts about anything else can now be made on the Facebook Group so it is an ideal place to share your holiday photos, photos of any walks you are on, ask questions etc and generally communicate with any other member who joins the facebook group. You can also post more photos of the latest walk we have just done, there will be no restriction on the number of photos as there is on the WhatsApp group.
